Returns and Terms


Your contract is with Idyll Home Ltd, company number 8580611 registered address Brook House, 18 Salford, Audlem, Cheshire, UK, CW3 0AZ. 


You agree that email will be used as the standard means of communication. If your order is accepted we will send you an email confirming this. This confirmation email will contain all relevant statutory information concerning your contract. 

Idyll Home do not store credit card information we use Sage Pay for online credit and debit clearing, in conjunction with the Natwest Bank. We charge for the order in full at the time the order is placed, please ensure if you are pre-ordering an item that you are happy to pay for it in advance. You undertake that all details which you provide to us for the purpose of ordering goods are correct, that the credit/debit card you are using is your own, and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the order.


We aim to deliver all orders within 7 working days of confirmation that your order has been accepted. 

Standard Items

Our postage and packing for standard items for delivery within UK mainland is £4.95 per order. For orders over £100.00 delivery within UK mainland is free. Next day delivery is £7.95 within the UK for orders placed before 12pm, this does not include weekends.

Large items

Quotations for postage of larger items to addresses outside of UK mainland are available upon request.

Idyll Home will not accept liability for courier delays.

We hope that you will be delighted with your goods, but please remember that if you decide within the first 14 days that the goods are not to your satisfaction you may return them to us. We ask that your return the goods in the original packaging and condition. Please email stating your reason for return and whether you would like an exchange or refund. In the case of a damaged product, please do send over an image if possible. 

If the item is damaged or faulty, then we will cover the cost of receiving the item back with us. Please ensure that if you are sending anything back to us that you request a proof of postage, as we will not be liable for items lost in transit on there way back to us without proof of postage. For furniture we ask that the item is checked on delivery for damage as the couriers will not compensate for damage unless the item is checked on delivery.

If you wish to return an item which is not damaged or faulty, then you can return the item for a refund or exchange, but this is done at your own cost and original postage paid will not be refunded.

If you have requested a replacement item this will be sent free of post and packaging charges, please note for larger furniture items we cannot cover the cost of a replacement unless the item is faulty or damaged.

If you have requested a refund, this will be processed within 21 days of receipt of your returned items. If this refund is made directly to your credit card this should appear on your next credit card statement.

If you have returned an item, we ask that you allow up to 7 working days for the item to be received back with us and be processed by our returns department, before you query the return.


Stock permitting, all orders are dispatched to arrive with customers within 7 working days. In the event that an item is out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and send it as soon as it arrives.

Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications are correct. However, while the colour reproduction is a close representation, a very slight variation in the actual goods may occur, and all sizes are approximate. If it is essential that the measurements are accurate on an item then please contact us prior to ordering and we will be happy to help. We will not be liable for the cost of returning items that are not the right size for your purposes if you have not checked beforehand.

This is in addition to your statutory rights.


If an item is out of stock at the time of ordering, then we will either wait for the whole order to be in stock so that we may ship altogether, or we may whip a partial order. We reserve the right to make that decision, but you do have the option for paying for two lots of carriage so that items may be shipped right away. APPROXIMATE DUE DATES WILL BE SHOWN BUT THESE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE, PLEASE ENSURE THAT IF YOU PRE-ORDER AND ITEM YOU ARE HAPPY TO PAY FOR IT AT THE TIME AND THEN WAIT FOR IT TO COME INTO STOCK. Once a back ordered item then comes into stock we will send the item automatically, so if you change your mind about an item you have pre-ordered it is your responsibility to cancel the order. This only applies to UK mainland orders, all other destinations due to delivery costs, we will not operate a back order system.


Every purchase made shall be deemed performed in England. These terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance by the laws of England and Wales.


These terms contain the entire agreement between you and Idyll Home relating to your purchase. You are responsible for reading these terms fully.


Idyll Home attempts to ensure that the information available on the website at any one time is true and accurate but cannot guarantee it will be error free. Idyll Home does not make any warranty that the website is free by viruses or anything that may have destructive properties. Idyll Home does not accept liability for any errors and omissions, and will do its best to correct errors as quickly as possible after being notified of them. Idyll Home does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of the website or for any products purchased from the website. Idyll Home will only be liable for direct loss up to a maximum total of the price of the product purchased. This liability section applies only to the extent permitted by law. By placing an order you are agreeing to these terms.


If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes. You understand that any and all charges of this nature will be borne by you.
